Comstock Civil War Reenactors is a Reno, NV-based organization dedicated to recreating the American Civil War experience. The organization consists of military and civilian reenactors from across the region, ranging from first-time participants to those who have been involved for decades. The group is dedicated to the accurate portrayal of the culture and life of the American Civil War era.

The organization hosts several large-scale events throughout the year, including the annual Comstock Civil War Reenactment, held each spring in Reno. This event features more than 500 participants who dress in period costumes and take part in activities such as drills, marches, and battles. The event also offers educational opportunities, with living history interpreters on-hand to answer questions and provide visitors with a better understanding of the period.

In addition to reenacting the Civil War, the group also participates in other community events such as parades, festivals, and school visits. Layia glandulosa - whitedaisy tidytips Layia glandulosa growing on an unstable hillside adjacent to mountain big sagebrush steppe in good ecological condition. It is notable that Layia glandulosa, perhaps like many species of the tarweed subgroup of Asteraceae, is more abundant where disturbance is regular. This species was not observed in the adjacent sagebrush steppe. This site occurs along the Thomas Creek Drainage just east of the Thomas Creek trailhead, southwest Reno, Carson Range, Washoe County, Nevada.
