The Omaha Performing Arts Society (OPAS) is a non-profit organization located in Omaha, Nebraska that is dedicated to providing quality arts and entertainment to the Omaha community. Founded in 1986, OPAS has been providing Omaha with quality performances of music, theater, and dance that range from classical to contemporary. OPAS offers a variety of programming, including the Omaha Symphony, Broadway Across America, Jazz on the Green, and the Omaha Community Playhouse. OPAS also sponsors educational programs such as the Youth Arts Institute and the Omaha Performing Arts Academy.
The mission of OPAS is to bring exceptional and diverse performing arts experiences to a wide range of audiences.
