Superior Historic Re-Development Inc is a non-profit organization based in Superior, Nebraska that is dedicated to preserving and redeveloping historic buildings in the community. The organization was founded in 2011 and has since worked to acquire and restore historic buildings in the downtown area of Superior.
The mission of Superior Historic Re-Development Inc is to promote economic growth and community development by preserving the city's historic buildings and promoting the downtown area as a destination for tourists and residents alike. The organization works closely with local businesses and community members to identify buildings that can be restored and repurposed for commercial or residential use.
Among its many accomplishments, Superior Historic Re-Development Inc has spearheaded the restoration of the historic Opera House building, which now serves as a venue for community events and performances. The organization has also restored several other buildings in the downtown area, including the former Masonic Lodge and the historic Hotel Royal.
Superior Historic Re-Development Inc is overseen by a board of directors, all of whom are volunteers. The organization relies on donations and grants to fund its restoration projects and community outreach initiatives.
