Aldrich House is a historic property located in Elmwood, Nebraska. The two-story structure was built in 1891 for William Aldrich, a prominent businessman in the area. The house is a fine example of Queen Anne architecture, with its asymmetrical shape, decorative shingles, and ornate porch. The exterior of the house is clad in red brick, with limestone accents.

The interior of the house features original woodwork, including oak paneling, pocket doors, and a grand staircase. The first floor of the house includes a parlor, library, dining room, and kitchen. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms and a bathroom.

The property includes a large yard, which is shaded by mature trees. The house sits on a corner lot, with a wrought-iron fence surrounding the property.

Today, Aldrich House is owned by the Elmwood-Murdock Area Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and culture of the community. The house is open for tours by appointment, and is also available for private events such as weddings and receptions. The Foundation has done an excellent job of maintaining the property, and visitors to Aldrich House can experience a glimpse of life in a bygone era.
