The Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden is located in Lincoln, Nebraska. It is a non-profit art museum that was founded in 1888 and is part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The gallery is named after its founder, Julia Louise Sheldon, and houses a collection of over 12,000 works of art from various artists and periods.

The gallery's permanent collection includes American art from the 19th century to the present, European art from the 16th century to the present, and a collection of works on paper. The museum also has a significant collection of 20th-century art, including works by artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Edward Hopper, and Jackson Pollock.

Apart from its indoor collection, the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery also boasts a sculpture garden, which is spread over three acres. The garden features over 30 sculptures by various artists, including Claes Oldenburg, Louise Bourgeois, and Mark di Suvero. The sculptures are made from various materials, including bronze, steel, concrete, and marble.

The museum also hosts various temporary exhibitions throughout the year, as well as educational programs, lectures, and workshops. The Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden is open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday and welcomes visitors of all ages and backgrounds to explore its impressive collection of art.
