Stand Tall All that remains of Harlowton's Milwaukee Road railyard is the sanding tower, and what appears to be a fuel tank. Part of the roundhouse still exists, too. It's rather lonely here.

Last of the Tribe Of the 84 individual cab units that comprised the EF-1 class constructed in 1915, only 3 remain. E57B is one of them, and the only one in Montana. It was a surplus unit, where two different strings of Boxcabs were combined to make one, and they had an extra cab they couldn't use. It became an ES-3 - a switcher. It served its last years in Harlowton's railyard before the 1974 electrification shutdown. In 1974, it and its sister, E34C (in reality, it was a renumbered E47D), were the only Boxcabs running. It was the very last one to run.
