The Cascade County Historical Society is located in Great Falls, Montana and is dedicated to preserving the history of the county and the surrounding areas. Founded in 1959, the society operates several historic properties, including the Ursuline Centre, the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, and the Montana Military Museum.

The Ursuline Centre is a former convent that now serves as a museum and cultural center, featuring exhibits on the history of Great Falls and the Ursuline Sisters who once lived there. The Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art is housed in a former school building and features rotating exhibits of contemporary art, as well as a permanent collection of Montana art and artifacts. The Montana Military Museum is located on the grounds of Fort Harrison and showcases the military history of the state, with exhibits on the Civil War, World War I and II, and the Cold War.

The Cascade County Historical Society also maintains an extensive archive of photographs, documents, and artifacts related to the history of the county and its residents. The society hosts educational programs, lectures, and events throughout the year, and is open to the public for tours and research. Through its preservation and interpretation of local history, the Cascade County Historical Society plays an important role in promoting an understanding of the past and its relevance to the present.
