Friends of the Depot is a non-profit organization based in Hardin, Montana, that is dedicated to preserving and promoting the historic Hardin Depot. The depot, which was built in 1908, was once a vital transportation hub for the area, serving as a stop for the Milwaukee Road and Northern Pacific railroads.

The Friends of the Depot organization was formed in 2004, with the goal of restoring and repurposing the depot as a community gathering place and tourist attraction. Over the years, the organization has raised funds through donations, grants, and various fundraising events, which have been used to make necessary repairs and improvements to the building.
