The Museum of the Plains Indian in Browning, Montana, is a cultural and educational institution dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history and culture of the Native American tribes of the Great Plains. Visitors can learn about traditional Native American crafts, such as basket-weaving, beadwork, and leatherworking, or attend lectures and demonstrations on various aspects of Plains Indian culture. The museum also hosts a powwow every year in August.
