The Sunset Hills Historical Society is a vibrant and active organization that is dedicated to preserving the rich history of Sunset Hills, Missouri. The Society was established in 1975, and is committed to encouraging appreciation and understanding of the unique heritage of Sunset Hills.
The Society collects, preserves and exhibits artifacts and memorabilia that relate to the area’s history and culture. The Society also sponsors educational programs, tours, and other activities that help to increase the knowledge and appreciation of Sunset Hills’ past.
The Society is open to the public and offers a variety of programs and events throughout the year. The Society also hosts an annual picnic, which features local history, music, and food. Additionally, the Society awards scholarships to local high school students who demonstrate an interest in local history.
The Sunset Hills Historical Society is an active part of the community, and works to preserve the past for future generations. Through its wide range of activities, the Society seeks to educate and inform the public about the history and culture of Sunset Hills.
