The Land Between the Rivers Historical Society is a nonprofit organization located in Portage Des Sioux, Missouri. Established in 1978, the society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the area between the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, which includes the towns of Portage Des Sioux, West Alton, and Orchard Farm.

The society operates a museum, which houses a collection of artifacts and exhibits that showcase the history of the region. Visitors can view displays on the area's Native American cultures, early European settlements, the Lewis and Clark expedition, and the impact of the steamboat era on the river towns.
