Reynolds County Museum in Ellington, Missouri is a historical museum located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. Established in 1973, the museum is dedicated to preserving and displaying artifacts from the area's long and varied history. The museum is housed in a two-story brick building that was originally built in 1929 as a schoolhouse. Inside, visitors will find a variety of artifacts and displays highlighting the county's past.

The first floor of the museum showcases Reynolds County's early settlers, beginning with Native American tribes who lived in the area before Europeans arrived. This includes artifacts such as arrowheads, pottery, and tools. The museum also features a large collection of photographs and documents that tell the stories of early settlers and their descendants. A variety of Native American artifacts are also on display, including a large collection of baskets.

The second floor of the museum houses exhibits related to the county's later history, including the Civil War, World War I and II, and the industrialization of the area. Visitors can also learn about the county's educational and religious history, as well as the region's unique culture and folklore.

The museum's gift shop features a variety of souvenirs such as books, clothing, and toys that celebrate the county's colorful past. In addition to its museum exhibits, the Reynolds County Museum also offers a variety of educational programs for children and adults. The museum is open to the public seven days a week and admission is free.
