Lewis Place is a historic district located in St. Louis, Missouri. It is a residential neighborhood that was established in the late 19th century and is known for its well-preserved turn-of-the-century homes and buildings. The district was named after William J. Lewis, a wealthy African American businessman who purchased the land in the 1880s and developed it into a thriving community for African Americans.

Today, Lewis Place is a designated historical preservation district, with many of its homes and buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The architecture of the homes in Lewis Place is a mix of styles, including Victorian, Gothic Revival, and Queen Anne. The district also features several large, ornate mansions that were built by some of St. Louis's most prominent families in the early 1900s.

The Lewis Place Historical Preservation organization was established in the 1970s to promote the preservation and restoration of the district's historic buildings. The organization works closely with the city of St. Louis to ensure that any changes made to the buildings or streetscape are in keeping with the district's historical character. Today, Lewis Place is considered one of St. Louis's most beautiful and well-preserved historic neighborhoods, with its tree-lined streets and stately homes attracting visitors from around the world.
