The Historical Society of Long Beach (HSLB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Long Beach, California. Founded in 1951, the Society is dedicated to collecting and preserving photographs, artifacts, and documents related to the history of Long Beach. The Society also provides educational programs and tours, lectures, and exhibits about the history of Long Beach.
The Society operates the Long Beach Heritage Museum, located in the historic Willmore Building. The museum features permanent and rotating exhibits about Long Beach's history, including displays about the city's historic buildings and sites, maritime history, and the city's role in World War II.
