The Historical Society of Long Beach (HSLB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Long Beach, California. Founded in 1951, the Society is dedicated to collecting and preserving photographs, artifacts, and documents related to the history of Long Beach. The Society also provides educational programs and tours, lectures, and exhibits about the history of Long Beach.

The Society operates the Long Beach Heritage Museum, located in the historic Willmore Building. The museum features permanent and rotating exhibits about Long Beach's history, including displays about the city's historic buildings and sites, maritime history, and the city's role in World War II. The museum also houses a research library with an extensive collection of books, photographs, and other materials related to the history of Long Beach.

The Society also operates several historic sites around the city, including the Pullman Car Museum, the Long Beach Petroleum Club, and the Old Rancho Los Alamitos. The Society also offers guided tours of the historic sites and of Long Beach's historic downtown.

The Society also hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, including lectures, workshops, and receptions. These events provide opportunities for the public to learn more about Long Beach's history and to meet other members of the Society. In addition, the Society offers educational programs for local schools and organizations.
