The Eudora Welty House in Jackson, Mississippi is a two-story brick house that was the home of the Pulitzer Prize-winning author and photographer, Eudora Welty. Located in the Belhaven neighborhood of Jackson, the house was built in 1925 for Welty’s parents, Christian and Mary Chestina Welty. The house is a Georgian Colonial Revival style residence, with a red brick façade, white shutters and a hipped roof. The interior features a central hall and stair hall, with a living room, dining room, kitchen, and breakfast room on the main floor and four bedrooms and a studio on the second floor.

The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2001 and is owned and operated by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History as a historic house museum. The house is open for guided tours, which take visitors through the rooms of the house and explain the life of Eudora Welty, the furniture and art that she collected, and the social and literary circles that she moved in. The house also contains a gift shop with books, cards, prints and other items related to Welty's life and works. The Eudora Welty House is a must-see for literary enthusiasts and those interested in the life and works of this Mississippi literary legend.
