FAULKNER HOME

Faulkner Home is a historic house located in Oxford, Mississippi. Built in 1825, the house was originally the home of William Faulkner's great-great-grandfather, William Clark Falkner. The house is a two-story Greek Revival style structure with a two-story portico with four Doric columns. The house has been carefully restored to its original condition and is now a museum open to the public.

The house is filled with original furniture from the Falkner family, including a bed, a desk, and a rocking chair that belonged to William Faulkner himself. The museum also contains a variety of artifacts from the author's life, including manuscripts, photographs, and personal items.
