Glensheen, the historic Congdon Estate, is a 20,000 square foot mansion located in Duluth, Minnesota, overlooking Lake Superior. The estate was built in 1908 by Chester and Clara Congdon, and is now owned and operated by the University of Minnesota Duluth. The mansion is a fine example of Jacobean Revival architecture, with 39 rooms filled with original furnishings, artwork, and artifacts from the Congdon family. The estate also includes 12 acres of gardens, walking paths, and lakefront property.

The mansion has been open to the public since 1979, offering guided tours of the house and grounds. Visitors can explore the grand ballroom, library, bedrooms, and other rooms in the mansion, as well as learn about the Congdon family's history and legacy. One of the most popular attractions is the infamous Glensheen murders, in which Elisabeth Congdon and her nurse were killed in the mansion in 1977. Visitors can learn about the investigation and trial of the murders, as well as view the room where the crime occurred.
