The U.S. Space and Rocket Center's Flying Museum in Madison, Alabama is an incredible educational and preservation resource for the aviation community. The museum was established in 1998 to honor the contributions of the men and women who served in the military and helped build America's aviation heritage. The museum is home to a variety of aircraft, including the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, the F-104 Starfighter, and the A-10 Warthog. In addition to historic aircraft, the museum also features a variety of interactive exhibits and displays that demonstrate the development of aviation technology as well as its impact on society.

The museum also serves as a living memorial to those who lost their lives in service to the nation. It honors their sacrifice and commitment to aviation by preserving and restoring historic aircraft, providing educational opportunities to the public, and encouraging the public to experience the history of aviation through interactive exhibits. The museum also offers a wide variety of educational programs and events throughout the year.

The Flying Museum is a great resource for the community and a testament to the dedication and commitment of the individuals who gave their lives to protect our freedom. It serves as a reminder of the great sacrifices made by our service men and women and provides an opportunity for the public to experience the history of aviation.
