Friends of the Fairhope Museum of History Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Fairhope, Alabama and the surrounding areas. The organization was founded in 1990 and is made up of community members, historians, and other interested individuals. Friends of the Museum serves to promote the significance of local history and culture through educational events and exhibits.

The Museum of History offers a variety of programs, including lectures, field trips, museum tours, book signings, and other special events. In addition, the Museum hosts an annual community festival, the Fairhope Historical Festival, which celebrates the history and culture of Fairhope. The Museum also has a research library and archives, which house a wide range of materials related to the history and culture of Fairhope.

The Friends of the Fairhope Museum of History also helps to support the Museum financially, through fundraising events and donations. The organization also offers memberships, which provide access to exclusive events and discounts on Museum admission. The Friends also supports the Museum's exhibits and educational events, as well as helping to promote the Museum through its various outreach efforts.
