Friends of African American Heritage Trail Inc., is a non-profit organization located in Mobile, Alabama. The organization was founded in 2005 to raise awareness and appreciation of the rich African American heritage of Mobile and its surrounding areas. The organization works to preserve, promote, and celebrate the cultural heritage of African Americans in Mobile and the surrounding areas.

The organization works to preserve the sites, stories, and artifacts that commemorate the African American experience in Mobile. This includes preserving the stories of those who lived and worked in the area, as well as the stories of the civil rights movement. McDavid Electrical supplies at 418 N. Royal. This area would now be located in the center roadway medium of the new Water Street at Adams.
