RANCHO GUAJOME ADOBE

Rancho Guajome Adobe is a historic landmark located in Oceanside, California. The adobe was built in 1853 and was originally the home of the wealthy Ysidro Maria Alvarado, who owned a 2,219-acre ranch on the property. The adobe was later used as a stagecoach stop and was even used as a hospital during the Civil War.

Today, Rancho Guajome Adobe is open to the public and offers a glimpse into the history of early California. The adobe is surrounded by beautiful gardens and orchards, and visitors can explore the property's many historic buildings, including the original adobe house, a blacksmith shop, and a chapel.
