The Charlevoix County History Preservation Society (CCHPS) is an organization founded in 1990 to preserve and promote the history of Charlevoix County, Michigan. Located in Boyne City, MI, CCHPS is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and preserving the county's historical artifacts, photographs, documents, and oral histories.

CCHPS is involved in a variety of activities to promote the history and heritage of the county, including public lectures, tours, and educational programs. The organization also maintains an extensive library of historical resources and provides genealogical research services. In addition, the Society offers a variety of publications, such as its annual Charlevoix County History Review, and sponsors an annual history fair.

The Society works with other historical organizations in the county to coordinate efforts and ensure the preservation of Charlevoix County's history. CCHPS was instrumental in the design and construction of the Charlevoix County Historical Museum, which houses a large collection of artifacts, documents, photographs, and other materials related to the county's history.

Saint John Nepomucene We headed home from Cheboygan a year ago--by way of Charlevoix, where we dropped in on Joan's uncle Harold and had a nice chat. Heading home from Harold and Donna's we found this neat--and tiny--stone church on M-52 near East Jordan.
