Binder Park Zoological Society is a non-profit organization located in Battle Creek, Michigan. Founded in 1975, the zoo is spread over 433 acres of natural habitats and is home to over 400 animals from around the world. The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums and is committed to the highest standards of animal welfare, education, and conservation.

The zoo offers a variety of educational programs and interactive experiences for visitors of all ages, including behind-the-scenes tours, animal encounters, and wildlife shows. Fall Colors at Big Marsh Lake One last photo from our recent visit to the Battle Creek Kiwanis Youth Conservation Area.

Watching Sandhills Shortly after we arrived at Big Marsh Lake last Saturday I took this video of the landscape while some cranes passed. As you've already seen, later in the evening there were many more birds, but this vid is kind of fun.

And, again, here's the glorious sound the Sandhills make when they gather. A joyful noise!
