The Aloha Historical Society is a non-profit organization based in Cheboygan, Michigan, dedicated to preserving the rich history of the Aloha area. The society was founded in 1993 and has been actively involved in collecting and preserving historical artifacts, documents, and photographs that reflect the history of the Aloha region.

The "Beach" at Duncan Bay Cheboygan State Park; 8/3/2008. We camp at Cheboygan basically every August, and have seen the campground's so-called beach in many guises. This one's the best. The state park's got a conventional beach for swimmers a few hundred yards down the bay, and a nearly endless beach along the Straits. This one's more entertaining, though, and more convenient if you're camping. But probably you don't want to swim there.
