Spring glory of big pear tree in blossom Driving, biking, or walking the city streets or on rural roads this time of year it is hard not to notice the explosions of trees in blossom once the spring season is well under way. While many deciduous trees spread pollen in modest flowers, some of the decorative ones use the opposite strategy to get the attention of pollinators, rather than to let the wind do the work of making seeds for the trees to drop.
