The show was called "Bienvenue á Paris" - the 2024 Benefit Concert and Competition Showcase to benefit the Peace Neighborhood Center.  The show also featured a performance from the University of Michigan First-Year Dance Company.

The Brighton Area Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Brighton, Michigan and its surrounding areas. Founded in 1973, the society operates out of a historic building known as the "Old Town Hall" which was constructed in 1873 and served as the town hall until 1976.

The society offers a variety of educational programs and events throughout the year, including historical presentations, walking tours, and special exhibits. They also maintain a museum which houses a collection of artifacts and memorabilia related to Brighton's history, including photographs, documents, and objects from everyday life.

In addition to their educational and outreach efforts, the society is also committed to preserving historic landmarks in the area. They have been instrumental in the restoration and maintenance of several historic buildings, including the Old Town Hall and the Brighton Millpond.

Membership in the Brighton Area Historical Society is open to anyone with an interest in local history. Members receive a newsletter and are invited to participate in special events and programs.
