Rancho Los Cerritos is a historic adobe ranch house located in Long Beach, California. It was built in 1844 and was once a part of a 27,000-acre Spanish land grant given to John Temple, a former mayor of Los Angeles. The ranch was then sold to Jonathan Temple, who built the adobe house as his family home. In 1866, the property was sold to Flint, Bixby & Co., and the Bixby family lived in the house until 1931.

Today, Rancho Los Cerritos is a museum that preserves the history and culture of Southern California during the 19th century. Visitors can explore the 4.7-acre site, which includes the adobe house, a historic barn, and beautiful gardens. The museum offers tours and educational programs for visitors of all ages.

The adobe house has been restored to its original 19th-century appearance and contains period furnishings, artifacts, and exhibits.
