The Historic Ottawa Beach Society is a non-profit organization located in Holland, Michigan. The society is dedicated to preserving the history and natural beauty of the Ottawa Beach area, which was once a popular resort destination in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Maple, maple, maple ready to burst into flower then leaf The paved walking path that connects the neighboring Ottawa County parks (Grand River park here and Grand Ravines park 3/4 mile ahead) shines after the showers of early spring snow in this view toward the west. The bank of maples forms a continuous wall of verticals gilded by the afternoon sun along one side and backed by shadow on the opposite side, producing an amplified 3-D impression in the flat surface of the photo.
