SAVE OLD ST MARYS is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the historic St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The church was built in 1885 and has served as a vital part of the community for over 130 years.

The SAVE OLD ST MARYS organization was formed in 2015 in response to the announcement of plans to demolish the church. The group’s mission is to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the church and to raise funds to help restore it.

The organization has made significant progress in its efforts to save the church. In 2017, the group was able to secure a one-year moratorium on the demolition of the church, giving them time to raise funds and develop a plan for restoration.

SAVE OLD ST MARYS has also partnered with the town of Mansfield and other local organizations to raise awareness about the importance of preserving historic buildings in the community.

The restoration of St. Mary’s Church is a significant undertaking, but SAVE OLD ST MARYS is committed to seeing it through. The organization is made up of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about preserving the history and heritage of Mansfield, Massachusetts.
