Tarpaulin Cove Lighthouse (Gosnold, Massachusetts) from the Celebrity Summit - Ten Night Bermuda and Charleson Cruise - May 16th, 2023 On our way to Martha's Vineyard on our first day at sea, we passed the beautiful Tarpaulin Cove Lighthouse on the morning of May 16th, 2023. The lighthouse is in Gosnold, Massachusetts on Naushon Island, one of the Elizabeth Islands that are just north of Martha's Vineyard on the Vineyard Sound. This beautiful lighthouse was first lit in 1891, replacing a light that was there previously. One of five lighthouses I saw from the Celebrity Summit on the morning of the 16th! On board the Celebrity Summit for the Ten Night Bermuda & Charleston, SC Cruise (May 15 through May 25, 2023). The cruise embarks from Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) with an additional stop at Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
