The Volleyball Hall of Fame in Holyoke, MA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the sport of volleyball. Founded in 1987, the Volleyball Hall of Fame honors players, coaches, and administrators from all levels of play, from recreational to international.
The Hall of Fame is located in the historic Volleyball House, a Victorian-style mansion built in 1873, and features a museum and library, as well as a number of interactive exhibits. The museum houses a collection of photographs, artifacts, and historical documents related to the history of the game. The library provides access to books, magazines, and videos on the subject of volleyball.
The Hall of Fame also has a number of interactive exhibits, including a virtual reality experience that puts visitors in the middle of a match, and a wall-sized video screen that allows visitors to see some of the greatest volleyball matches in history. The Volleyball Hall of Fame also hosts a number of special events, including a yearly induction ceremony and a scholarship program.
