The Newton Historical Society Inc. (NHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of Newton, Massachusetts. Founded in 1902, it is one of the oldest active historical societies in the United States. The society’s mission is to promote and preserve the history of Newton through its many collections, research, and educational programming.
