The Andover Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Andover, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1891 by a group of citizens with a mission to collect, preserve, and disseminate the history of Andover, Massachusetts and its surrounding area. The Society's headquarters are located in the Abbot-Spalding House, a historic home from the late 18th century. The house was purchased by the Society in 1965 and is now used as a museum and research center. The Abbot-Spalding House contains a permanent exhibit about the history of Andover, as well as a library, archives, and a gift shop.
