Orchard House, located in Concord, Massachusetts, is best known as the home of author Louisa May Alcott and her family. The two-story clapboard house was built in the early 1800s and was purchased by Alcott's father, Amos Bronson Alcott, in 1857. The family lived in the house for 10 years, during which time Louisa wrote and published her beloved novel, Little Women.

The property includes a barn and a large, productive orchard with several different kinds of fruit trees. In the backyard, there is a gazebo, believed to have been built by the Alcotts, which is now a popular spot for weddings and other events. The house itself is an example of traditional New England architecture, with a center hall, small parlor, and large kitchen.

Today, the house is open to the public for tours and has been restored to its 19th century condition, complete with period furniture and original family artifacts. Visitors can explore the house and its surrounding grounds, get a glimpse of the Alcotts' daily life, and enjoy the house's natural beauty. Orchard House is a living relic of the Alcotts' time in Concord and a must-visit for any fan of Louisa May Alcott.
