Hammond Castle is a medieval-style castle located in the city of Gloucester, Massachusetts. Built in the early 20th century by John Hays Hammond, Jr., a wealthy inventor, the castle was intended to serve as his residence. The castle is built in a Romanesque Revival style and is constructed of stone and steel. It is situated on a rocky promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The castle includes numerous towers, turrets, and passageways, and also features a drawbridge, moat, and a courtyard. Inside, visitors can find a museum, which showcases artifacts from Hammond’s life and inventions, as well as a laboratory. The laboratory is an exact replica of the one he used in England.

The grounds of the castle are a popular destination for visitors. The gardens feature a variety of plant life, such as rosebushes and rhododendrons, as well as a number of statues.

In addition to being a popular tourist destination, Hammond Castle is also home to the Hammond Castle Museum.
