CAPEN HILL NATURE SANCTUARY

Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary is a 260-acre non-profit nature reserve located in Charlton, Massachusetts. The sanctuary was established in 1979 and is owned and managed by the Massachusetts Audubon Society. The sanctuary’s main purpose is to protect and conserve the natural environment of the area.

The sanctuary includes a variety of habitats such as wetlands, woodlands, and meadows, as well as a number of animal species that depend on the area for their survival. This includes several bird species, white-tailed deer, and coyote.
