The Lachase Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Boston, MA that works to build a better future for the city’s youth. Founded in 2000, the Foundation is committed to providing access to resources and opportunities for all children in the Greater Boston area, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status. The Foundation achieves its mission through a combination of direct services, grants and scholarships, and advocacy efforts.

The Foundation is led by a board of trustees, chaired by Bruce Lachase, and supported by a team of dedicated staff and volunteers. The Foundation’s direct service programs focus on providing access to education, housing, and employment opportunities for underserved youth in the Greater Boston area. Through grants and scholarships, the Foundation also funds a variety of programs and initiatives to support youth in the areas of education, health, and social development.

In addition to its direct service and grant programs, the Foundation also works to advocate for policies and programs that promote equity and opportunity. The Foundation’s advocacy efforts include working with local, state, and federal government agencies, along with partnering with community organizations and other non-profits, to ensure that all children in Boston have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
