The Macy-Colby House is a historic late 17th century colonial house located in Amesbury, Massachusetts. The house was built in 1680 by William Macy, who was among the first settlers of the area in 1640. The house was owned by the Macy family for generations until it was purchased by the Colby family in 1804. The house is built in the classic New England style and consists of two stories with a large central chimney. The exterior of the house is clapboard and is painted white with green shutters.

The interior of the house is a mix of both the Macy and Colby family’s original furnishings and decorations. The first floor of the house features a spacious living room and dining room with high ceilings and large windows. The original wide board floors and hand-carved doors are still present in the house. The second floor of the house consists of four bedrooms and a bathroom, all with original fireplaces and paneling.

The Macy-Colby House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is now owned by the city of Amesbury. It is open to the public and is used for special events and educational programs.
