Phillips House is a historic house located in Salem, Massachusetts. Built in 1782, it was originally the home of the Phillips family, who were prominent merchants and ship owners in the area. The house is now owned and operated by Historic New England, and is open to the public for tours.

The house is a two and a half story Georgian style mansion, built with a symmetrical design and a central chimney. The exterior is made of clapboard siding, and the roof is a combination of asphalt shingles and wooden shingles. The house has eight bays with three windows on each side of the facade, and a central entrance with an arched doorway.

Inside, the house features several original features, such as woodwork, paneling, and fireplaces. It has a large central hall on the first floor, as well as a dining room, parlor, and library. Each room has its own unique features, such as the parlor featuring an ornate carved mantelpiece and the dining room with a large built-in cupboard.

The house has a variety of decorative elements, such as marble mantelpieces, wooden cornices, and trompe-l'oeil paintings. There is also a large collection of 18th and 19th century furniture, paintings, and decorative arts on display.

Phillips House is a popular tourist attraction in Salem and is open to the public for tours. Visitors can learn about the history of the house and the Phillips family, as well as see the impressive architecture and decorative elements.
