The Toussaint Louverture Historical Society is located in Silver Spring, Maryland and is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history and legacy of Toussaint Louverture, a Haitian revolutionary and leader of the Haitian Revolution. The society was founded in 1986 by Dr. Jean Eddy Saint Paul, a Haitian scholar and educator, and has since become a prominent organization in the Haitian-American community.
