Baltimore - Fells Point: Ekiben Ekiben officially opened its doors in Fells Point in March, 2016. Started by Steve Chu, Abebe, and Nick Yesupriya as a modest operating using a hot-dog cart to sell Asian steamed bun sandwiches at the Fells Point Farmers Market. The name "Ekiben" is inspired by the Japanese tradition of ekiben, or train station bento box.
