The Locust Point Civic Association Inc (LPCA) is a non-profit organization based in Baltimore, MD that serves to improve the quality of life for its residents. The mission of the LPCA is to advocate for the preservation and improvement of the historic Locust Point neighborhood, and to foster a sense of community by promoting civic involvement and social engagement.

The LPCA was founded in 1952, and is made up of a 15-member Board of Directors, an Executive Committee, and several active committees that are devoted to various issues within the community. The LPCA engages in a wide range of activities, including community outreach, public safety initiatives, and environmental conservation. The LPCA also works to promote local businesses and organizations, and to connect residents with resources and services.

The LPCA hosts several annual events and programs, including the Locust Point Festival, which celebrates the neighborhood’s culture and heritage. Baltimore Harbor Light from Embarkation Day Onboard the Vision of the Seas Eight Night Cruise to the Southeastern United States and Bahamas - February 16th, 2024 The beautiful Baltimore Harbor Light during embarkation day onboard the Royal Caribbean Vision of the Seas for an eight night cruise from Baltimore, Maryland to the Southeastern United States and the Bahamas (February 16th, 2024 to February 24th, 2024). The Baltimore Harbor Light is a sparkplug lighthouse near the Bay Bridge. The Light was first lit in 1908 and the focal height of the light is 52 feet. Since we left right on time, we were able to see it beautifully on the Starboard side (right) as we headed down the Chesapeake Bay. The cruise embarks from Baltimore, Maryland with stops in Charleston, South Carolina; Port Canaveral, Florida; Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, and Nassau, Bahamas, before returning back to Baltimore.

Bolton Hill is a largely residential neighborhood with three-story row houses with red brick, white marble steps, and high ceilings. The fall of 2022 I did my 3rd major cycling tour. I began my adventure in Montreal, Canada and finished in Savannah, GA. This tour took me through the oldest parts of Quebec and the 13 original US states. During this adventure I cycled 7,126 km over the course of 2.5 months and took more than 68,000 photos. As with my previous tours, a major focus was to photograph historic architecture.
