Riversdale House Museum, located in Riverdale Park, Maryland, is a historic landmark that dates back to 1801. The house was commissioned by a wealthy Belgian aristocrat, Rosalie Stier Calvert, and her husband, George Calvert, a prominent landowner and politician in Maryland. The house was designed by William Thornton, the architect behind the U.S. Capitol building.
