The Art League of Germantown (ALG) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Germantown, Maryland. The mission of the Art League is to promote the visual arts in the Germantown community by providing local artists with opportunities to exhibit their artwork, as well as offering outreach programs, workshops and classes to children and adults.

The ALG was founded in 1993 by a group of local artists and art enthusiasts, and has since grown into a vibrant and diverse organization. The ALG’s main headquarters, The Art House, is located in the Germantown Town Center and houses an art gallery, art studio, and office space. The Art House also serves as a venue for classes, workshops, and other events.

The ALG offers a variety of programs and activities for all ages. For children, the ALG offers educational programs such as the Art for Kids program, which teaches basic art fundamentals to children ages 5-12. For adults, the ALG offers workshops and classes in drawing, painting, and other media. Additionally, the ALG holds several art shows throughout the year, showcasing the work of local artists.

The ALG is a member of the Montgomery County Arts Council and the Maryland Federation of Art, and is supported by contributions from individuals, businesses, and grants. With its commitment to helping local art flourish, the Art League of Germantown is a valuable asset to the Germantown community.

Saw some eastern grey squirrels, deer, white throated sparrow, downy woodpeckers and cardinals. The cruise embarks from Baltimore, Maryland with stops in Charleston, South Carolina; Port Canaveral, Florida; Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, and Nassau, Bahamas, before returning back to Baltimore.
