The Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) is an affiliate of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. The Arkansas Committee of the NMWA was founded in 1993 with the mission of “Promoting the visibility of women artists and the excellence of their work.” The Arkansas Committee works to achieve this mission through its work in the arts community, in the classroom, and in the public arena. The Arkansas Committee of the NMWA is based in Helena, Arkansas.

The Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts focuses on promoting the visibility of women artists in Arkansas through a variety of initiatives. The Arkansas Committee works with local schools and universities to promote women's art, and to encourage students to pursue careers in the arts. The Arkansas Committee also organizes and sponsors exhibitions of women's art in Arkansas and works to increase the public's awareness of the works of women artists.
