The Good Life Center is a non-profit educational organization located in Brooksville, Maine, whose mission is to promote the principles of homesteading, sustainable living, and social justice. The center was founded in 1951 by Scott and Helen Nearing, two pioneers of the back-to-the-land movement, as a place for people to learn about and practice simple living, organic gardening, and natural building techniques.

Today, the center offers a variety of programs and events throughout the year, including workshops on topics such as beekeeping, permaculture, and herbal medicine, as well as lectures, film screenings, and community gatherings. The center also maintains a library and archive of materials related to the Nearings' life and work, as well as a small museum displaying artifacts from their homestead.

The Good Life Center is open to the public from May through October, with tours of the Nearings' homestead available on weekends. Visitors can explore the gardens, orchards, and stone buildings that the Nearings built by hand, and learn about their philosophy of living simply and sustainably. The center also offers rustic camping facilities for those who wish to stay overnight.

In addition to its educational programs, the Good Life Center is committed to promoting social justice and environmental sustainability. The center partners with other organizations to advocate for issues such as food justice, climate change, and affordable housing, and works to build a more just and sustainable world for all.
