Beatnik mannequins A couple of mannequins inside the Beatnik Angel store in Russellville, Arkansas. Somehow this isn't blurry even though the exposure is a bit long. I put a polarizing filter on the lens to remove a reflection from the window between me and the subject, but didn't change the exposure right away. I changed it later, but this image came out better.

The Yell County Historical and Genealogical Society is an organization dedicated to the preservation of local history in Yell County, Arkansas. Founded in 1967, the Society is one of the oldest genealogical groups in the state. The Society's primary mission is to collect, preserve, and share the history and genealogical records of the area.

Crowd along the rim trail This crowd gathered to see the total solar eclipse of April 8, 2024 next to the rim trail in Mount Nebo State Park in Arkansas. This was taken during the eclipse, but before totality. There were plenty of people, but there was still room for more. The parking lots were pretty full, though.

Tiny tree A young tiny tree has made its home next to the rim trail in Mount Nebo State Park in Arkansas.
Raffle guitar A guitar with signatures of musicians and some people from NASA (I don't know who) as well as artwork was a raffle prize at the Moon Over Main festival in Russellville, Arkansas.
Mount Nebo eclipse crowd Extra parking was provisioned in Mount Nebo State Park for the crowd who came to see the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. All the cars pictured are in this additional parking area. The place still wasn't terribly crowded and everyone got a fantastic view.
Perihelion A local artist's shop in Russellville, Arkansas. A number of things are placed outside to attract potential customers during the "Moon Over Main" festival to celebrate the then upcoming total solar eclipse.
Early spot My stuff for capturing a total solar eclipse placed in a nice spot in Mount Nebo State Park. This was taken early in the morning, so I hadn't finished setting everything up.
