The American Lighthouse Foundation (ALF) is a non-profit organization located in Rockland, Maine. Founded in 1998, their mission is to preserve and protect our nation's lighthouses, their keepers and their stories. ALF is a volunteer-driven organization that works in partnership with lighthouse owners, government agencies, and other non-profit organizations to preserve and protect our nation's lighthouses. ALF is committed to educating the public about the history and importance of our lighthouses.
