Chimp Haven Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Keithville, Louisiana, that provides sanctuary to over 300 chimpanzees. The organization was established in 1995 and is the only federally approved facility in the United States that provides lifetime care to retired chimpanzees from medical research labs, the entertainment industry, and private ownership.
