The Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra (GNOYO) is a non-profit organization that provides young musicians with the opportunity to develop their talents through orchestral music performance. GNOYO was founded in 1994 and is based in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The orchestra is composed of students between the ages of 6 and 20 from the Greater New Orleans area. Members are selected through a competitive audition process and are divided into five different ensembles based on their skill level. These ensembles include the Preparatory Strings, Sinfonia, Philharmonia, Symphony, and Jazz Orchestra.

GNOYO hosts several concerts throughout the year, including a winter concert, spring concert, and a final concert in May. The orchestra also performs at various events and venues throughout the New Orleans area, including the Mahalia Jackson Theater, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and the French Quarter Festival.

In addition to providing musical education and performance opportunities, GNOYO also offers scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need. The organization also partners with local schools to provide music education programs and workshops for students who may not have access to music education in their schools.

Overall, GNOYO is a valuable asset to the New Orleans community, providing young musicians with the opportunity to develop their talents and share their love of music with others.
